Ryan has over a decade of experience with Executive Search & Business Development, and has always run a full-cycle recruiting desk to represent clients and candidates simultaneously.

Shortly after graduating from business school, Ryan entered the recruitment industry in 2008 working for a regional Staffing & Search agency in the Pacific Northwest where he gained experience completing searches in many industries including Manufacturing, Oil/Gas, Finance, Telecom, Technology, Real Estate, & Construction to name a few. This included both Direct Hire and Contract placements.

Prior to starting Ryconn, Ryan recruited for a renowned Search Firm in Connecticut where he quickly became a top producer & eventually a manager after creating the MedTech direct hire practice area from scratch. In addition he developed many of the firm's methodologies and cutting edge search strategies for this new era of high-tech recruitment.


Over the last 6 years his practice area became intensely focused in placing Leadership, Management, Engineering, and Sales positions in Medical Device sector. Ryan has partnered closely on hundred's of searches with OEMs & Contract Manufacturers to attract and place top performers. He has been directly involved and helped to solve many types of hiring challenges.  

Ryan has acted as a recruiter/consultant for start-ups,  privately/family held businesses, private equity backed firms as well as global Fortune 1000, 500, & 250 companies to advise on strategic hiring decisions. This included successfully filling his clients most critical searches, often most difficult openings, sometimes highly sensitive/confidential situations and many relocation searches placing at locations across the entire USA.
